Q: What format can my master be?
A: We source from 1", D2, HDCAM, Digital Betacam, DVCAM, DVCPRO, Betacam SP, 3/4"(SP & U-Matic), Hi-8, 8mm, (S)VHS, VHS and VHS-C, DVD and CD . We can also reproduce tapes from PAL Betacam SP and 3/4" Low Band as well as PAL and SECAM VHS. DVD (NTSC and PAL) and CD replication is available at competitive rates.
Q: What formats can I transfer to?
A: We output to 1", D2, HDCAM, Digital Betacam, DVCAM, DVCPRO, Betacam SP, 3/4"(SP & U-Matic), Hi-8, 8mm, (S)VHS, VHS and VHS-C, DVD-R and CD-R.
Q: My aunt sent me a tape from France. Can you transfer it for me?
A: Yes, we can transfer to and from NTSC, PAL, SECAM and other world standards. A complete list of standards for each country can be found on our Standards FAQ page.
Q: I have 3 tapes that I want to take a part of and combine them on tape and DVD. Can you do that?
A: Yes, but special prices would apply.
Q: Can you put more than one master tape onto another tape?
A: Yes, this type of tape is called a stacked tape and we do them frequently. Please inquire about pricing via our e-mail.
Q: Can you make loop tapes and Disks?
A: Loop tapes are a misnomer. In actuality they are repeaters. We can reproduce a program multiple times on the same tape up to 142 minutes. Please inquire about pricing via our e-mail.
Q: How long does it take to get my copies or clones once I place an order?
A: Our normal processing time is 72 hours, however some jobs can take up to 5 working days.
Q: Can I get my material faster than that?
A: Yes, we offer rush service, but at a surcharge.
Q: Will you label my copies?
A: Yes, all our tapes and disks are shipped in window sleeves or hard plastic cases. We apply face labels to all tapes and disks, spine labels to tapes with cardboard window sleeves and inserts for 1/3 hard plastic cases.
Q: I don't have the master of a tape. Can you make reproductions from my copy?
A: Yes, we can make reproductions from your copy; however, remember that each time a reproduced tape is copied the quality decreases. Also we cannot reproduce copyrighted videos unless you hold the copyright or have verifiable written permission on the copyright holder’s official letterhead.
Q: Are your copies inspected?
A: Yes, we Quality Check each master that comes in before we reproduce from it and call you if there are any problems. Once your material has been reproduced we check each one to ensure that we send out only the highest quality work.
Q: I have a VHS tape that was recorded in EP (6 hour mode) can you copy it for me?
A: Yes, however we cannot guarantee the quality as the difference between SP (2 hour mode) tapes and EP tapes is substantial.
Q: Can I provide my own tape or disk stock?
A: No, we use a specially formulated super high-grade tape stock and recordable disk media and it is included with the price of your reproduction.
